The former channel The London Channel that was broadcast on CASTPOST and Blip.tv relaunched at 12:00am on Monday 5 January 2007.  London Channel still has the same address as the former channel The London Channel this is because some of the items will be left for archive purposes reminding viewers of what the former channel The London Channel offered in programmes and presentation.  London Channel sections of this website include new idents and presentation including most of the website now in London Channel corporate colours (Blue) for Twilight (Orange and Black) for Night with White text.  The CityPages section of London Channel website is also in the new London Channel colours.  London Channel update includes London Channel television listings on the homepage.

London Channel is a  Community television channel which launched originally in late April 2006 as The London Channel.  London Channel shows live events and General Interest and Vintage programmes about London.

How Do I Watch London Channel?:
 
Go to the http://londonchannel.blip.tv  website.  Click Video on the Blip.tv Windows Media Player and wait for the Blip.tv Windows Media Player to Buffer to 100%, this will take about 30 Minutes to download completely.  Then either Play as a schedule or as a Download of the programme to watch anytime.
 
Do I have to to Log In to the Blip.tv website to Watch London Channel?:
 
No not at present, you can also find The London Channel on the Blip.tv website by typing London Channel or London into the Blip.tv  Search Engine on the Blip.tv website.
 
What if I Don't Have Broadband How Can I Watch London Channel?
 
Unfortunately this won't be possible as you will need a Broadband Modem for the fast and reliable playback.  A 56Kbps Modem will only show the programme by stopping and starting as the Blip.tv Media Player will just not buffer correctly.

The first ever programme on The London Channel was The London Channel 2006 Highlights which was first shown in late April 2006.

How to watch London Channel as a Schedule:
 
Start the Blip.tv Windows Media Player after it has fully downloaded at 100%.  Start 1 Minute before the nearest Hour, then when the programmes will begin on the Hour, the Minutes in brackets indicate the Minutes past the hour when the programme will work as a proper schedule.
